Community engagement and dialogues
This initiative is an important part of SAYCCC in achieving its objectives. It is designed to advocate for climate justice through different approaches:
• Campaign approach; we focus on critically observing our country’s level of ambition and effectiveness in implementing the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) and Just Energy Transition through our assessment criteria as shall be determined through teamwork and consultation;
• Bridge building approach; we focus on the facilitation of constructive dialogues and bringing together youth and different stakeholders in order to achieve an ambitious, effective and inclusive NDC and other climate policy plans;
• Think-tank approach; we focus on the provision of technical expertise to support climate policies.
