The South African Youth Climate Change Coalition (SAYCCC) is a network of young environmentalists and climate justice activists. We believe that the best way of empowering the youth is to give them opportunities to explore their abilities. SAYCCC will work to the best of its capacity to ensure that all youth and young graduates have a space where they can be exposed to relevant opportunities as much as possible.

Agriculture is a critical sector in our country’s economic growth and livelihoods, but it is threatened by climate change. In some ways, agriculture contributes to climate change, and it is affected by climate change. However, not all types of agriculture have had an equal impact on climate change. It is crucial to educate communities about climate-smart agricultural practices and give them access to tools and resources to increase their climate resilience, like drip irrigation and drought-resistant seed varieties, in order to help them cope with the effects of rising temperatures. This practice can create more opportunities, especially for young people.;
